As I've blogged about previously, the topic of sex/gender differences in intelligence is, and will continue to be, very contentious. Heck, the recent resignation of the president of Harvard was due in large part to the furor aroused by his comments regarding inherent differences between the genders in certain cognitive aptitutdes. The recent APA article that suggested few inherent differences in scientific/mathematics aptitude (noted in a previous post at IQs Corner) generated considerable discussion both within and outside of scientific circles.
