Research byte: WISC-IV CHC-->math achievement study

A very interesting study that supports the cautions outlined by myself and Wendling (McGrew & Wendling, 2010) that the extant CHC cognitive-achievement relations research completed during the past 20 years consists primarily of studies conducted with the WJ-R and WJ-III (94 %) and that generalization of the COG-ACH conclusions to other instruments are not established and should only be undertaken with significant caution.

IQs Corner Recent Lit of Interest: Four weeks worth

I have been slammed and have fallen behind my weekly searches of the literature. Today I caught up. Four weeks of "recent literature of interest" are now available (one, two, three, four)

Enjoy

McGrew (2009) Intelligence article 4th most cited article since 2007 in Intelligence

Given my last post I decided to check on the status of my most other prominent article, an invited editorial article in the journal Intelligence. This really surprised me. The article below (click here to access) is as of today, the fourth most cited article in the journal Intelligence since 2007.

My mom is now doubly proud. [Click on images to enlarge]
