Article: Scholarly publishing is broken: Is it time to consider guerrilla self-publishing? | Impact of Social Sciences

This is one reason I do a mixture of journal publication and blogging.  Blogging allows me to get exciting new analyses I may have completed immediately.....but the reader must evaluate how good it is as there is no peer review.  I believe my academic reputation helps
